The winning margin reflects a battle where stage wins alternated between the crews and the final margin of 6 seconds reflects that the crews were no more than 7 seconds apart all day, with the stage wins split pretty evenly between the 2 crews.

The results of SS2 were scrubbed after an over ambitious bit of flying from the end of the ramp by Jim Wicks and Steve Wright resulted in the destruction of their Mark 2 Escort and a trip to the Local Hospital for the crew.

Stewart Fossey and Andy Walker claimed 3rd overall in their Escort, 95 seconds behind the leaders.

The winner of class C Collin Haggett and John Swinney were next in the order a further 15 seconds down.

Class A was won by Dominic Worsfold and Mark Holding in the Fiesta and Class A by Warren Till and Nigel Hogg in the Micra.
