Welcome to the Home Page for this, the 5th CAR-nival Sprint organised by a confederation of motor clubs under the Abingdon Motorsport CAR-nival banner and promoted by Farnborough District and Sutton & Cheam Motor Clubs. This event is the only Sprint to be held at the former RAF Base at Abingdon in Oxfordshire and offers a superb combination of a super smooth surface and a unique format of 2 completely separate competition courses. In total, competitors received 4 Timed Runs (2 on each course) as well as the practice sessions. The event is a qualifying round of the prestigious Car & Car Conversions Speed Championship, as well as the ever-popular A.C.S.M.C. Guildford Tyres Speed 2001 Championship, A.S.E.M.C. and L.C.A.M.C. Speed Championships as well as being an invitation event to a number of one-make and specialist vehicle clubs. |
